Wood-R5 is a classic-style straight shaving razor designed for controlled beard and moustache grooming, neckline work, and detailed finishing.

This variation listing offers two options for the metal blade-holder (the part that holds the blade): Silver or Black. Both variants share the same natural wooden handle and overall design, allowing you to choose the finish that best suits your style or barber kit.

The handle is made from pure, natural wood with no paint or polish. With continued use, the wood gradually develops deeper, richer shades, giving each razor a unique, lived-in character. Jimping has been added where the thumb rests to provide greater grip and control when shaping facial hair and working around contours.

Reverts have been removed and replaced with a brass screw at the pivot, which can be adjusted for fine-tuning the razor’s tension and feel. The razor measures approximately 15.5 cm in length and weighs around 40 g, offering a balanced, easy-to-handle tool for precise shaving and detailing.

A protective pouch is included to help keep the razor clean, protected, and convenient to store or carry between uses.

Blade compatibility: This razor is designed for use with standard double-edge blades. Many users prefer Derby or Astra double-edge blades for smooth, controlled shaving. These blades are widely available from barber-supply and grooming retailers.
