Sanguine Scissors Ltd operates as a wholesaler catering exclusively to the hair and beauty trade. Direct sales to the general public are not offered. All products on this website are intended for use by trained professionals or students undergoing relevant training. By accepting our terms and conditions, you affirm that your purchase is for business use by qualified individuals. Sanguine Scissors Ltd holds no liability for any injury or damage resulting from the use or misuse of products purchased, regardless of the user’s training status. It is your responsibility to ensure that you or your employer possesses adequate insurance covering the use of the purchased products. We reserve the right to request proof of professional status and may refuse orders if the customer is not deemed a trade customer.
1. Placing an Order:
Items in the shop default to a quantity of 1. Press the “Add to basket” button to place your order. Review item descriptions, pricing, and quantities before checking out. Amendments can be made before proceeding to checkout. Order confirmation will be sent via email.
2. Your Right of Cancellation:
A contract is formed when we confirm your order. You may cancel the contract by notifying us within 7 working days of receiving the goods. Notification must be in writing via email, fax, or letter to Sanguine Scissors Ltd, Unit 18 Skipper Court, Abbey Road, London, IG11 7GW, United Kingdom. Phone: 01245 441 562, Email: shop@sanguinescissors.co.uk. Contracts cannot be canceled for goods with a broken manufacturer’s seal or used hygiene-sensitive items. If canceled, return the goods in their original packaging at your expense. Failure to return goods may result in direct costs charged to you.
3. Faulty Goods:
Faulty goods, those not conforming to the contract, may be replaced or repaired within the warranty period. Notify us immediately of any faulty goods. Goods damaged on receipt may be returned free of charge (UK only) if reported within 7 days.
4. Returning Goods:
Returned goods must be properly packaged and labeled with our address. You are responsible for any damage due to incorrect packaging or if you arrange transport. Unauthorized returns will not be refunded, and incurred costs will be passed to the customer.
5. Images:
Images on our website are for illustrative purposes and may slightly differ from actual goods.
6. Pricing Structure:
Prices displayed are subject to change without notice. Prices are exclusive of VAT and delivery. Trade customers can request a trade account by contacting shop@sanguinescissors.co.uk.
7. Payment and Security:
Payment is required before dispatch, except for trade account holders. Payment methods include secure online payment and credit card payment by phone. Cheques or postal orders will dispatch after clearing. All goods remain Sanguine Scissors Ltd’s property until fully paid. PayPal is used as the secure provider.

9. Cancellations:
Orders cannot be canceled once dispatched. A 5% charge, up to £7, will apply to returned goods to cover restocking and credit card fees.
